Long Island Teen Finance Conference
About the Conference
The Long Island Teen Finance Conference is a finance networking and panel event that connects high school students with professionals across the industry. It has two goals: building financial literacy and helping students explore careers in finance.
Most teens never get the chance to talk with someone who works in finance, and many see the field only through movies and headlines. The conference changes that by bringing together professionals from investment banking, asset management, wealth management, fintech, credit ratings, mergers and acquisitions, and the Federal Reserve, along with people outside finance who have found success as investors. Students hear from them on panels and then network with them directly.
The conference is open to students from across Long Island, with outreach to Title 1 schools so that students without connections in finance can start building them. The theme says it all: your network is your net worth.
